Commworx Civil successfully secured and completed Stages 1A and 1B of the residential subdivision for SWR Developments. As the Principal Contractor, Commworx was responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction, including community engagement, workplace health and safety, and environmental compliance. The scope of work undertaken by Commworx included:
- Construction of site access, laydowns and Site Compound.
- Clearing and grubbing of site under ecologist supervision. 9,000m3 of topsoil strip to stockpile.
- Relocate existing electrical, NBN, Sewer and water services to existing residents.
- 6,000m3 of cut to fill under level 1 supervision
- 5,500m3 if general fill import. Includes place and compact under level 1 supervision
- Import and place pavement material to construct 6,300m2 of roadway
- 6,300 m2 of spray seal and asphalt wearing course
- 1400m of Kerb and gutter
- 1,900 of stormwater drainage ranging from 150mm PVC through to twin 750mm Diameter Stormwater pipe.
- Installation of stormwater pits, lintels and 8 headwalls
- 2,200m of Pressure sewer and watermain.
- Install of electrical and NBN infrastructure including Kiosk, power poles and street lights.
- Site wide Landscaping, Concrete footpaths, Fencing and Retaining walls.
